4.0 - Open Lead History in New Window, Default Search Value RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello All,

Our client has requested the history of a lead to open in a "new" window when clicked. I know this can be accomplished with a "ctrl + click" but is it possible to access those links with JavaScript or custom code?

Also, they would like the default value for the filter to be "All". Is it possible to set this somewhere or access it with JavaScript or custom code?

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

  • Thought 2x about it and figured you're looking for 'all' in the activity history - see here for a nice description of how to achieve this.

The source for that code is Stunnware, but on the stunnware site it is sometimes difficult to grab a link to a specific page.

  • For the filter - that's a normal configuration setting - open the lead entity, choose views and forms, then set the 'all leads' as the default view.

Not sure about having history open into a new window.  Usually people complain about too many windows in CRM! :)
