  • Hello

This Windows 7 key is an MSDN AA Product Key.  I have done a search of the internet for that key and got 10+ pages of websites that have that Product Key listed.  That is a sure sign that the key has been leaked.

I have also looked up the key in my Key Information Tool and it shows over 259 Activations but is not yet been Blocked.

I will be forwarding this key to the Microsoft Anti-Piracy dept. for investigation and I foresee the key being Blocked due to excessive use and being leaked to the internet.

-If this key was  given to you thru the MSDN AA program, them please go to the MSDN AA Support game http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/academic/bb250610 for further assistance (you may want to request a new key or inform them that this key has been leaked)

-If you bought this key thinking it was a normal consumer retail key, please contact the person or company that sold you the key and demand a refund. Get your money back.

    Thank you,

NOTE: I have moved this thread to the proper Windows 7 forum

    The installation here is interesting
The Key looks very much as if it's either an, OEM one, or a Volume License key that got out into the wild.
Since the tools calls it a Retail Key, I would assume that it's in act a leaked Key, which has been plastered all over the internet since at least the beginning of last year.

From where did you get the Key that's in use here? ]Was Win 7 Pro pre-installed on your machine when you got it, or did you upgrade to it?
Do you have another Key on a COA sticker, or in the Win 7 packaging?
