    When you type in the product key are you supose to use the - between the caracters. It tells me that I have an invalis product key and I know better, I bought it through the college that I attend.

    Under normal circumstances no, you don't have to enter the dash (OS Product Keys). But I must be honest with you, I'm not 100% sure. I believe the same is with Office Product Keys.
