RAM fully occupied by a too large Mapping File

    Question

  • Hello,

we have a Problem we cannot solve: Our RAM on a Server ist sometimes fully occupied by a Memory Mapping File (.cbf). The Problem is, that we cannot find out, what Prozess does it create. We used the tool RAMMap, but there we just see, what file it is - but we dont see, by what is this file created. Now i got the advice to use the tool VMMAP.

Do you have also other ideas how to find it out?

    Thank you

    Zuzana
