IFD URL

Question
-
Hi,
I am trying to configure IFD for client
the CRM Edition is professtional edition (only one organization) and we used port 80
The Organization name:ABC (example)
The domain name is : https://ABC.com
That will make the URL for internet access https://ABC.ABC.com which was not acceptable by the client
My question is since we have one organization can we use the address without the organization name ( we are using the professtional edition)
Thanks

Hi Marwa,
You will need the org name as the prefix for ifd to work. However, you can name your organmization lets say crm, so then your url would crm.abc.com

Hi Marwa,
You would have to rename the organization. This can be done with the crm deployment manager. The process involves, disabling the organization, deleting it, then importing it again. When you import you will be able to enter the org name.
