Deskktop Outlook Client Configuration (CRM 4.0) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I installed Outlook client on a desktop (windows XP). The installation went fine. Then i opened Outlook, i didn't get the button of configuration wizard inside it (isn't it weird?) So i opened the wizard from All Programs/ Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0/ Configuration Wizard and ran it. It went fine. When i opened Outlook, i noticed that i had the 'Microsoft Dynamics' folder in the navigation pane with the 'Deleted items' folder only and there are no records and CRM can't be viewed. Also there is no CRM ribbon and toolbar. i ran the configuration wizard again but it didn't fix the problem. Any idea how to fix this?

    The web client is working.

  • Hello,

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Client is only working for Office 2003 and 2007

XP (2000) is NOT supported anymore.

  • But i have Office 2003 installed on windows XP, and the installation went fine. The configuration didn't. So i guess this is not a Windows XP issue.
