How to update "pin/unpin" and "mark as read/unread" using UploadItems in EWS?

  I have exported an item using ExportItems operation, the exported item is "unpinned" and "marked as read". After exporting, I modify the same item in Outlook to "pin" and "mark as unread". Now I will upload the exported item using UploadItems and CreateAction is set to Update. The UploadItemsResponse is NO_ERROR which means that the update is successful, however upon checking Outlook UI, the item remains "unpinned" and "marked as read". Have someone encountered this issue or someone know how to fix it? Thanks!
