WHS 2011 won't backup System Reserved Partition in Windows 7 64x

Question
-
I cloned a 120 GB SSD to a 240 GB SSD for my C: drive. I have Windows 7 64x Pro on it. Now, WHS 2011 refuses to back up the "system reserved" partition on the new (i.e. cloned) drive. I used a Windows recovery disc to "fix" my startup even though my computer starts up perfectly fine. I did this because I heard the boot manager is a major part of the "system reserved" partition. I thought that the recovery disc might fix a problem with that partition. Still, WHS 2011 will not back up the "system reserved" partition. When the cloned drive fails to back up, the error message of WHS Backup tells me to run chkdsk. The "system reserved" partition does not have a drive letter and I've run chkdsk several times and the new SSD (C: drive) is healthy. If I back up the rest of the C: drive, I don't have a problem. The original drive didn't have this problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Instead of cloning the disk with a 3d party utility, try restoring a backup of the computer to the new disk.

I took Ken's suggestion and simply restored an earlier backup. It works again now.
The hidden volume has over 250MB so I don't think that was it.
I think the cloning software miswrote some of the code on the hidden volume, leading to read errors. Or didn't put it into the right sectors.
Problem solved.

May be the hidden volume is either not compatible any more or has not enough free space to create a shadow copy, which is required for the backup.
Has your new computer even that system partition? (you could check in disk management) Could well be, you did not clone that and therefore the repair process did arrange the boot manager onto the Windows volume. If not, you may simply leave it excluded in the future.
