Problems Validating W2k Professional. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I've been attacked by viruses and spamware for the last week... and it got to the point where my computer was so messed up it wouldn't boot in safe mode or normal modes.

I reinstalled my windows 2000 cd and ran the windows update... and went through downloading all my updates like media player/directx/other ms stuff i needed for my games. And EVERTHING worked fine with the WGA validation... but yet again... I got my computer messed up because of spam, and after I reinstalled windows again, after the windows update, my computer wont pass the WGA validation... I saw on the other threads u asking other users to post results from this diagnostic program, so I'm adding them to this post... here you go: (also from reading the status... it says unsupported OS... I thought I read in another post that w2k was supported.

Thanks for your help... You guys rock.

  • Windows 2000 does not require validation.  Is there a particular reason why you are attempting to validate?
