Extended 360° panorama RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, As part of a project recording the forest regrowth I am photographing an extended 360° panorama (usually ~400°) and want to retain the overlap initially.

When I process this in ICE the software recognizes that it is a 360° and truncates the additional overlap. It also assumes that I want the beginning of the panorama (as taken) to be in the center of the panorama - which I don't as I want the start to be at due north. i have tried this with other software - PTGui, PhotoStitch which have the same problem.

I have poked around in the software and visited the ICE forum and cannot find an answer for the extended panorama. I checked out moving the centre of the pano using the 3D option but I am not sure if this will work with an extended panorama.
