Welcome to the Windows Academic Program (WAP) ProjectOZ forum. ProjectOZ is a shared source operating system project environment that uses the native kernel interfaces of Windows to provide simple, clean, user-mode abstractions of the CPU, MMU, trap mechanism, and physical memory that can be used to perform experiments in operating system principles. Its intended use is for teaching operating system fundamentals to computer science students worldwide through ProjectOZ based assignments and research projects. This forum is dedicated to questions and discussions specifically related to the ProjectOZ source code and operating system project environment. We encourage students and faculty to post questions, project descriptions, or general discussions related to ProjectOZ and to share ideas on how to use it more effectively in the classroom.
For more information about ProjectOZ, please see the ProjectOZ homepage.
For general operating system or development questions unrelated to ProjectOZ, please use your favorite general OS or development forums or newsgroups.
