3rd Computer Issue RRS feed

  • I have 3 computers. Windows Onecare is now successfully installed on 2 of them. I can not get the third computer to activate. Then trying to activate, the screen says that I need a subscription. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Same issue. I used the OneCare Removal tool and then reinstalled with same results.I have a subsciption that expires 8/10/08- I use the same login id (my hotmail email address) all 3 accounts- I checked my billing status using billing.microsoft.com. It shows a OneCare Beta that expires 8/10/08. Since it is listed as a Beta I can not get phone support. But this product is clearly out of Beta.

  • If you participated in the 2.0 beta and received a key to activate for testing purposes, you do not have a production subscription. The beta installations on the other 2 computers will need to be removed as the beta is over. Download and install from http://onecare.live.com and active/subscribe online or use a retail product key from a store bought copy.
