Dear All,
I have MS-Project Professional 2010(Trial) installed at my desktop and we have installed a Project server 2007 for our organization.
So whenever I try to connect MS-Project Professional 2010 to Project Server 2007 I am getting below error message.
No permission to read project server enterprise global file.
The project server enterprise global could not be accessed. Contact your administratorSo kindly let me know whether this Project 2010 is compatible to Project Server 2007?

Hi Sachin,
No, you cannot connect to Project Server 2007 using Project 2010.
You can connect to Project Server 2010 using Project 2007, if the server is running in backward compatibility mode.
I hope this helps,
Hans

Hi Sachin,
We cannot use Project Professional 2010 with Project Server 2007.
As Hans mentioned, can use project professional with Project Server 2010 in BCM. Below is the reference for you:

Thanks Hans and Badal,
This has cleared my doubt regarding compatibility between client and server among different versions.
One more thing is still left that, I have checked at MS download center they have removed all the links related MS Project Prof 2007 download so from where I can install this software as you told Project 2010 will not work with project server 2007.
