How do I install an OCX RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have successfully installed VB6 SP3 32 bit onto WIN7 64 bit. And surprisingly it runs. I have a transferred a VB program from my Virtual XP Pro machine to WIN 7. The program wants an OCX called LongTimer. How do you install an OCX. There is an install program that came with the OCX but I believe it puts the OCX into C:\Windows\system32.  I believe that in WIN7 I need to put it in C:\Windows\sysWOW64????

    Thanks

  • Hi,

    Welcome to MSDN.

I am afraid that this is not the proper forum for this issue, since this is not a specific VB.net issue, I would suggest you consider posting this issue in http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dd361745.aspx forum for more dedicated supports.

In addition, you could mark any reply as answer if it is helpful.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Regards.
