The chances are really good that they either created another MCP ID for you or they just never mapped it to your MCP ID. This happens all the time.
Gather all the evidence you can, including making a scanned image of your passed exam (less than 100K in size), and then contact your Microsoft Regional Service Center. You can email them the copy of the passed exam, your MCP ID, our Live ID email
address, and your Prometric ID - located in the upper-right corner of your passed exam document.
Do not lose the passed exam results! Their email address is
