  • Is there a seperate product key for

    windows xp sp1 and a windows xp home edition?

    Arn't they just all the same thing but sp1 a upgrade package?

  • A Product Key is specific to the version of Windows XP you are installing.  For example, a "retail upgrade version" requires a different Product Key than a "full version".  Also, an OEM Product Key can only be used with an OEM Windows XP CD.  The service pack level is immaterial.
