When to export CRM2013 solutions to CRM Online? RRS feed

    We have a customer on CRM Online with our managed solution. Our development environment is on-premise.

    Will the on-premise CRM 2013 be released early enough for us to customise new forms and processes to export an updated solution and import it to our CRM Online customer? If not, do we export from CRM 2013 RC1 into production?

    I have a feeling that the proper process is to continue using existing forms in CRM Online and then customise the forms once CRM2013 server is released. Then export and update the solution in CRM Online. Is this the expected process? How is everyone else planning to customise the new process guides and forms?

    Hi,

       CRM 2013 release candidate is already available on partners for on-premise version. You can always use this for the development and when online one becomes available, deploy it there.

    I would recommend upgrading the 2011 forms to 2013 on-premise first and have a look at the impact before going online. You can design your forms and processes that way too. We are using the same process for our customers already.
