Keep getting Windows Not Genuine Message With Black Desktop

Question
-
Hello, I have an activated copy of windows but for a week or so now I keep getting my desktop image turn to black with a message in lower right saying:
Windows 7
Build 7601
Copy of windows 7 is not genuineAlso sometimes a windows dialog saying it's not genuine.
I built the computer myself and install Windows 7 many months ago (upon finishing build). I purchased a valid copy of windows from a creditable company online. Had no issues and activated at that time.
Since I recently started receiving this "not genuine" message, I tried reactivating via phone and it does activate (I've done this a few times now). After activation the massage goes away. Also says then that it's genuine. But every so often when I restart the computer it reverts back to this black screen for my desktop and the not genuine message - so I go through the process again.
Also at started up I now get a black screen just after the login screen. This back screen says there for a minute or more and just shows my cursor then finally moves on and shows windows desktop etc.
I've ran a virus scan using Comodo (previously installed) and then downloaded, installed and run a scan with MalwareBytes. Both scans came back clean.
This "not genuine" issue and start up issue seemed start after updating a driver for video card. So could possibly be that, but I've tried reverting the drivers but that had no effect.
Many thanks for your help in advance!!
