activating already had one care on new computer RRS feed

  • I either put the wrong or mistyped id or pw for activation of add another computer, so I don't see this activate or subscribe button that ms kkeeps directing me to?  what do i do?

  • On the PC that you wish to add OneCare to, install OneCare from http://onecare.live.com and then click subscribe within the newly installed OneCare. Subscribe using the same LiveID used to activate the subscription on the first PC.

    Clicking Add PC in the Manage OneCare Circle dialog on a hub PC does not add a PC to a subscription, it should bring up text telling you to go to the other PC to install and activate.

  • Go to a computer where One Care is already activated and open One Care>Help>About and you will see the Live ID associated with your subscription. If you are using the correct Live ID and can't remember the password support may be able to provide you with the correct password.
