Does the software have waypoint options. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Can I make a waypoint while travelling using this software.

For instance if travelling on the Chesapeake Causeway over the water I would like to mark a Latitude/Longitude position.

  • You can defined a waypoint in terms of any location - this could be a pushpin, a geocoded address (ie. street address that has been found), point-click on the map, or a longitude, latitude coordinate (WGS84 geographic decimal degrees).

  • If your route takes you across the Chesapeake Causeway, you do not have to do anything more; the S&T data base of roads has that built in.  I know from experience having created just such a route and then traveled it.  We did not get wet.
