  • Because that exam does not provide a credential on its own you do do have any certificates yet.

You will see that the exam is listed as passed in your exam section

You need to complete one more of the .NET 2.0 or 3.5 exams to get a certification now

  • You can share your transcript to show others that you have successfully completed the exam.  But as Niall stated you will need to pass another exam to earn a MCTS certification.  The exam you have passed (70-536) is a core exam focused on the overall .NET Framework.  The exams that Niall listed have specific focus on various .NET development topics - Windows development, Web Development, etc.  After completing one (or more) of these other exams you will have earned a MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) certification and this will also be listed on your transcript.  If you look at:

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/certification/mcts.aspx#tab2

you will see that many of the MCTS certifications only require a single exam - but the "Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft .NET Framework Technologies" each require you to pass two exams.  Once you complete your MCTS you will want to work towards earning your MCPD certification.

    Good luck!
