Windows 7 no longer genuine

Question
-
i recently came home from work after leaving the PC on and i had a notification that my copy of Windows 7 was no longer genuine. this has become a major nuisance since i contacted the office and i ended up getting transferred all over the world, to many different customer services. Bottom-line is i had one lady tell me my retail copy of windows 7 is legit but there was nothing that she could do for me. I don't have another copy to do a OS re install since i downloaded the Copy as a upgrade through school.

I have looked up the key and it is showing as Valid and Genuine (no blocks).
I recommend Validating Windows at http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate
If Validation is successful (which I suspect) then the page will show a "Welcome to Windows" message (and offer you Security Essentials) at which point your issue should be resolved (you may need to reboot for the Non-Genuine message to fully disappear).
However if Validation was not successful, it will give an error message describing the issue. re-run a new Diagnostic Report and post it so we can see what (if anything) has changed.
Thank you,

The error code indicates that Microsoft has blocked the key. Reinstallation would not fix this since the problem is the key. To ensure that there has not been a mistake contact the Academic Program administrator for the program under which you obtained the key and request assistance. A common cause for a key being blocked is a refund request. You need to find out if your key has been erroneously flagged as a refund.
