How to Set Up RAID with WHS RRS feed

Here's how I set up WHS with RAID 1...

System has two identical 320GB IDE drives, and IDE DVD drive.

    1) prepared a floppy with the RAID drivers (downloaded from motherboard manufacturer's site - used Win XP drivers)

    2) put the driver diskette in a USB floppy drive connected to the server machine

    3) configured the system for RAID 1, and used the BIOS RAID utility to add the drives to the array

    4) set the boot order in BIOS to SCSI, CD-ROM (which translates to RAID, DVD)

    5) inserted the WHS DVD into the drive

    6) booted with the DVD and ran through the setup

Upon completion, WHS sees the RAID array as a single drive, which it's partitioned into C: and D:.  The WHS installation read the floppy and used the drivers automatically and transparently.  (Very cool!)

The system seems to be running beautifully...
