WLBS errors RRS feed

  • Question

  • A couple of weeks ago I added a PCI Express 1394 (Firewire) card to my WHS box.  Ever since, it's thrown about a half dozen errors pertaining to WLBS on startup, along with a dialog alerting me that a driver or service failed to start.  Other than the errors in the event log and the dialog box, the only actual symptom that something's not quite right is that when it boots, I need to log on locally before I can get to the PC via remote access.

My guess is that the box is loading the 1394 networking adapter software, and then trying to run WLBS between Ethernet and 1394, and WHS doesn't like it.

I've decided I can do without the 1394 card, and have removed it.  Sadly, though, I'm still getting those errors and the behavior described above.  Any idea how I can scrub this from my system?
