windows 8.1 ugrade

hi upgraded on a solid state HP envy x2 from windows 8 to 8.1. really sorry I did this as windows 8 was working fine. now its taken a relatively fast solid state Pc and turned it into a very slow pc from the 1990's. any help on how I can speed this pc up or revert back to windows 8?
