  • Hello,  I recently had alot of maleware installed on my pc and since then my windows cannot be validated.  When I try to validate it says:

    I try to activate both windows and office and both say that they are already activated.  Please advise and I no longer can recieve updates.

    When are you seeing the activation error?  .  The purpose of this forum is the support of Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) program.  Your question is off topic as well as outside my area of knowledge.

     

    There is, however, a kb article that provides ways to correct this provided that this message comes up during start up:

     

    "You are prompted to activate Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 every time that you start the computer"
