  • The e-mails will be delivered to the members of the marketing list(s) associated with the campaign. So if your marketing list members are accounts, then the e-mails will be delivered to the e-mail address of each account, e-mails will not be delivered to contacts associated with the accounts. If you want e-mails delivered to contacts, then you'd need to build a marketing list containing those contacts.

    Hope this helps.

  • Neil,

    Contacts stores information about a Contact and Account stores information about Company

    I would like to send e-mailer to contacts based on their company information like industry or revenue but contacts doesn’t stores company information.

    For small list I can use lookup and select the contacts based on Parent contact as I would be knowing whom to send but when I am working on a big list it would become difficult for me to go to each record and select the contacts as it would be time consuming.

    Is there any method where I can use or create a contact list based on company information?

    regards

  • Yes, you can use the use Advanced Find to Add Members option to add contacts to a marketing list based on attributes of the contacts' parent accounts. For example, contacts where the parent account Industry is Information Technology and City is Redmond.

  • Hi Neil,

    I tried to using Advanced Find based on attributes of the contacts “parent accounts” and extract the data but when contacts came out I could see only the Primary Contact information is extracted. Is there any method so that I can extract all the contact associated to the company?

    Regards

  • Using Advanced Find:

    Look for: Contacts

    Related: Account (Parent Customer)

      <insert your account criteria here>

    Find.

    This will return a list of all contacts associated with a parent account that meets your criteria. If you are getting a list of only primary contacts, then you have selected the wrong related relationship (probably, Accounts (Primary Contact)).
