  • hi dont no if you can help my girlfriends computer was working ok and fine she had just downloaded sp2 thru updates and then had to do a restore to the same day because she had audio device then all was fine and dandy she said she saw something about activation pop up but was already restarting pc when she turned back on she was faced with black screen and 3 options to put product key in she tried and got error code i got her to try mine and same code appears 0xc004f050 is there any way of rescuing this situation ........ thanx in advance

  • To help us analyze and troubleshoot the issue you are experiencing, please download and run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostics Tool
    Once you run the tool, click on the Continue button, then click on the Copy button and paste the report into your post.

  • thing is she cant get into her comp now this thing comes up after she puts her password in and it just gives the 3 options enter key enter another key or go on line and buy a key cant understand why she has been locked out of her comp thanx
