  • Can IE be uninstalled from Windows 10

  • Hi James,

    IE(Internet Explorer) is one of Windows features. It cannot be uninstalled.
    You can disable IE, instead of uninstalling it.

    Steps are below:
    1. Right Click [Start], and select [Run].
        

    2. Input "optionalfeatures.exe", and press [OK].
        ..... "Windows Feature" window will appear .....
        

    3. Uncheck "Internet Explorer 11", and press [OK].
        

    4. ..... warning window will appear .....
        press [Yes]
        

    5. press [OK] on "Windows Features" window.

    6. ..... searching window will appear .....
       (close other applications, if they are opened)
        press [Restart now]
