The CRM database holds the customisations that you have added in CRm like Entities, Javascript, etc.

John.Yassa,
Please find procedure to move CRM in the different server:
- Make backup of CRM organization database called <organization_name>_MSCRM
- Install Dynamics CRM on the destination server
- Install relevant updates (Update Rollup) which was on the source server
- Restore CRM DB on the destination server
- Import Organization in the Deployment Manager

If you want to just move your CRM customisations you can go to Settings->Customisations->Export Customisations, this will give you a customisations file that you can then import into your new CRM server.
