  • Question

  • We've upgraded from CRM 4.0 to CRM2011. This was done on a terminal server and also locally.

When I look for the local verion I see 2 lines. "Microsof Dynamics CRM 2011 (5.0.9690.2243) (DB 5.0.9690.2243)" and "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for Microsoft Office Outlook (5.0.9690.2243)". When I logon as an administrator oon terminal server it's the same. But when I logon as a user on terminal server, there's a difference. The secobnd line then reads "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Microsoft Office Outlook (4.0.73333.2747)"

But for a user the CRM client is definitely CRM2011.

There's no installation af CRM 4.0, so how come?

Can anyone help me with this?

    Thanks for your reply

  • I've removed my own profile. And after a new logon the version no's where both for CRM 2011. So it seems that something in the profile was causing this.

    No further investigation needed.

  • What if you create a new user, do they see CRM 2011 version or CRM 4 version?

Kids don't try this at home!
