No Automatic or Manual Backups

Question
-
Running latest WHS, (1) Vista x64 (Intel), and (1) Vista x32 (Intel).
The Vista x64 has been working great since WHS install in early Jan - performing backups - until 12 days ago.
Vista x32 continues to back-up every night.
Tried to reboot WHS and delete all the x64 backups.
Current situation: I press Backup Now and nothing happens... looking for suggestions...Wednesday, April 8, 2009 1:40 AM

Could you try to uninstall the Connector software and to reinstall it from the Home Server Connector Software folder in the Software share of your server? (Maybe the backup stopped at the time, in which Power Pack 2 has been installed on your server, because the connector software got not upgraded on that client.)
Which version numbers are shown in the console?
Are date, time and time zone on client and server identical?

Have you tried running chkdsk /r on each drive in your Vista x64 PC? Have you looked at the event logs on your Vista PC (and perhaps your server as well) for any error messages?

Have not tried chkdsk on Vista x64 lately (though I regularly perform chkdsk + defrag functions) - but did just notice the following in the event log:
Windows Home Server protocol mismatch. This computer uses protocol version 117964836, but partner computer 621121ef-043a-4c6b-b004-97081aff1863 uses protocol version 133038080. A connection cannot be established.
