    when i try to install live One Care on windows XP it tells me checking for updates and then it dowloads it and then it start the instlation process bu it tells me error the error ID is : 0018 - 80070643 please any body help me

    See if the information here - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=1588602&SiteID=2 - helps you get past the 0018 error, which is a generic install error, unfortunately.

    I purchased Live Onecare October 30. 2007 It failed. How can I re-insll it?

    What do you mean by "it failed?"

    You can uninstall OneCare from Control Panel  - add/remove programs (Programs and Features in Vista) and then run the cleanup tool - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2

    After rebooting, install OneCare from http://onecare.live.com and activate with the same LiveID that was used to originally subscribe.

    Ok you're my last resource! I purchase Onecare from a seller, then I installed it from the cd and keeps taking me to the "install windows live programs" but it NEVER askes me for my subscription and says I have something like 10 days left. I really need to activate my key and I'm getting desperate. I need a way to take me to activate my product key.
