Can Server 2008 join NT4 Domain?

Hi,
I have download the trial version of Server 2008 Enterprise version (32-bit) for testing. After I build up the server and try to join the existing NT domain an error was happened. The error is "Logon failure: unkown user name or bad password".
I have check the domain administrator's password is correct. Also I have searched the somebody also happend this error while he want to join the 08 server to NT domain.

I suspect that this is to do with NTLM versions. The original versions of the LanManager authentication protocol have known insecurities. In Windows Server 2008, the old version of NTLM is disabled by default and I'm guessing you would have to specifically enable its use to allow you to authenticate with a NT4 domain.

Hi,
I have tried to change the Network security:LAN Manager authentication level to "Send LM & NTLM responses" in the Server 2008, however when join the NT Domain it still have the error comes out.
So do I need to do anything in the NT Domain controler?
