Problem with Product Key RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello.  I just got a message tonight that my copy of windows is not genuine.  I recently reinstalled it after some software issues.  My copy of windows was installed by my local computer store, and they never gave me the box or wrote down the code for me.  So I used the program, Belarc Advisor, to get my key.  I tried the "slui 3" trick from some other thread but it didn't work because whenever I tried to type in the product key, it wouldn't allow me to type certain numbers, namely "0".  Thank you in advance for the help.

  • Unfortunately, the installed OEM SLP copy of Windows 7 Home Premium is non-genuine and counterfeit.  You will need to purchase a genuine edition of Windows 7 and perform a "clean install".  If the "local computer store" charged you for the counterfeit copy, go back and demand a 100% refund for it.
