Hello xanax48,
The Windows section of the mgadiag report is showing that your installation of Vista Business is nongenuine because of an "Invalid License."
The partial product key of your Vista Business installation, 8C6BG-C9BT2-3XDRY, shows that this is a standard deployment product key for Hewlett Packard computers that come from HP with a Vista Business license preinstalled. However, the mgadiag report shows that this installation of Vista is no longer installed on an HP computer, which is a violation of the Software Licensing Terms and that is why the Vista installation is no longer Genuine.
In order to Get Genuine, you have to put this installation of Vista Business back onto the HP computer onto which it was first installed, or you have to purchase a new license for Vista Business.
Here is the Office snippet of your mgadiag report:
OGA Data-->

Your current installation of Office Pro 2003 is a Volume Licensing edition of Office 2003 not authorized for sale to individuals, and it was installed with a Volume Licensing Key that was generated by a pirating program known as a "key generator" or keygen for short. In other words, the Volume Licensing Product Key used to install this copy of Office was made up by a pirating program that generates Product Keys that can unlock software; this Product Key was never an official Product Key issued by Microsoft.
IMO your first course of action should be to contact the seller of Office 2003 and inform them that you will be returning your software for a full refund because it is pirated software. As an individual consumer, the seller should never have sold you a Volume Licensing edition of Office, and certainly should not have sold you any software with pirated "keygen" Product Keys. DO NOT settle for getting another Product Key for Office that might work for a while---your seller has already cheated you once, why give them a second chance to cheat you again.
Once you have received your refund, please purchase your Office software from a name-brand, reputable local or online store.
If the above does not work out, you can review the Office Genuine Offer FAQ to see if you qualify for a discounted or complimentary copy of Office directly from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/downloads/FAQ.aspx?displaylang=en#ID0EKNAC

The mgadiag report is telling us that you have two installations of Office on your Dell computer. There is a nongenuine Volume Licensing edition of Office Enterprise 2007, and that installation was done with an Invalid Volume Licensing Key. You also have a retail license installation of Office Ultimate 2007, but that is showing as not yet activated.
The nongenuine installation of Office Enterprise 2007 is causing the nongenuine Notices to be displayed on your computer.
Please try uninstalling Office Enterprise from the Control Panel>Programs applet.
If you have already tried uninstalling Office Enterprise from the Programs applet, it seem that such uninstallation was not successful. Could you try the automated Microsoft FixIt in this MS KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179/ to see if it can get the job done?
Assuming it does, upon completion, restart the computer twice.
Then from the Start menu, go to Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007 and open Word. At that point, the Activation Wizard should take over and help you automatically activate Office Ultimate 2007.
If the Activation Wizard does not automatically start, click on the Office button>Word Options>Resources>Activate Office to start the Wizard, then activate online normally.
After activation, restart the computer and visit www.micosoft.com/genuine and click on the Validate Office button to clear the OGA Notifier cache and to Valiate your retail license installation of Office Ultimate 2007.
Finally, run Windows Updates to get all the Service Packs and updates for Office Ultimate 2007.
Please come back here to let us know if the above steps worked for you :-)

Hey Dan
First off thanks for the prompt reply
Obviously your analysis is right however couple of issues now
The regular uninstall of Enterprise failed as did the uninstall with Windows 7s recomended settings
The Fix it gave the response "There is a proplem with this Windows Installer Package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"
Lastly I'm supremely concerned that I not only rip out this legacy version but also the genuine install of Ultimate which contains all my business info, emails and contacts. Do you think this will be an issue? Do I need to formally migrate in some way?
Thanks again

Hello Nexus Digital,
If the automated FixIt was not successful, then the next thing to do is to follow the manual uninstallation steps in this MS KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928218/
Normally, uninstalling an Office suite does not affect Office documents on your computer or Outlook data, as long as you are saving documents and data to the default locations presented when the programs were installed. However, if your documents and Outlook data are not otherwise backed up elsewhere, it's a wise thing just on General Principles to back up your documents and data, so I would enourage you to do so.

Still issues Dan,
First off the article you pointed me too is Vista and pre, I'm using Windows 7 RTM Ultimate
However figured out the differences.
Haven't really had time before now to try out or replyr so appologies.
I tryed again after yet another failed install of Office accounting Professional direct from MSDN! which I need as my accounts are due next week and I only have them in spreadsheet format.
Failed to install Microsoft Application Error reporting LOL see (non existent) log for details
Then I decided to take the pludge with this manual uninstall of office to try an fix once more
First of there is no Enterprise listed in the installers just Ultimate and the various apps
Next off I decided I would try unstalling one of the Office msi's as suggested
Once again, on multiple attempts, unexpected (;)) error error code 2203 this time.
Hope you can help mate
Best
P
PS bizarrely even got an error when I tryed to unmark previous response as answer!

Hello Nexus Digital,
Just to confirm, is your Non-Genuine issue resolved?
If it is and the issue you are curremtly experiencing is related to install/uninstall of Office, (to receive better support) I recommend post the issue in one of the Office Newsgroups: http://www.microsoft.com/office/community/en-us/FlyoutOverview.mspx
Thank you,

Hello Nexus Digital,
Your Office Ultimate 2007 is a retail license and therefore you are entitled to full support from Microsoft Product Support Services.
Please visit the http://support.microsoft.com for your country (Aus), click on Product Solutions Centers and then find the links for the Office Solution Center. One there, click on the "contact a support professional" links you will see on the page to get assistance with your Office Ultimate 2007 installation issue.
