    How do I store binary data in CRM 2011?

    e.g. word files, audio files.

  • Within the CRM itself, the options for file storage are:

    1. As email attachments - not an obvious choice for your requirements
    2. File attachments in Notes (annotations)

    The latter will work provided the files are not too large (I think <= 5MB by default).  If your requirements exceed this and/or you have a large number of files to store, the recommended approach would be for an offline/linked file storage facility such as that provided by the Sharepoint 2010 List Component.
