Is Windws HPC correct solution? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello Pros,

1)We have a requirment in the project to submit around hundred webservices everyday at different intervals. We are using a tool called cape clear manager at the moment but planning to move soon to our own application. Ideally we are planning to use VS2010 and windows server 2008, Task scheduler 2.0.  After looking at HPC Server 2008 manual, i started digging more details and found it very useful specially the support for SOA.

2)Also it uses SQLServer to store the job information (fall over cluster). Is it possible to use Oracle as our all main databases are in Oracle

Need some Pro's advise before i advice my company to investigate on this.

    Sincerely appreciate your help.

    Bobby
