Problem with CRM multi language version RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

we have a CRM implementation with 2 languages: English and French. All user profiles are set to use teh French language as default language upon connecting to CRM.

However, and on an intermittent basis, some of the users have their CRM back to English. The odd thing is:

    1. Under CRM options, the language is set to FRENCH
    2. The labels of the application are all in English.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

    Thanks!

    Fadi

  • Hi Fadi,

We have seen this issue before and it was fixed in one of the latest update rollups.  Do you have the latest or close to the latest update rollup?

  • Hi Alex,

We are running with rollup8 (4.0.7333.2542) installed on the CRM Server and rollup7 (4.0.7333.2138) installed for outlook clients.

Was the fix in a later rollup?

    Thanks!

  • Carsten,

Correct me if I am wrong, but this article says that if the language pack is not installed on the client, outlook will not display the multi language option.

In our case, French is selected, yet labels are displayed in English.

    Thanks,
    Fadi
