The system cannot find the file specified. RRS feed

  • After I upgrade the CRM 4.0 to CRM2011 RU 15, I am not able to open the deployment manager. It throws a error prompt "The system cannot find the file specified.".  There is no trace, no log information. Any one has any idea?

  • Maybe you are just trying to open it from an old shortcut? 

    Try opening it directly from the Program Files CRM folder

  • You tried running it directly from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics CRM\tools\Microsoft.Crm.DeploymentManager.exe

    And you get a message that the file cannot be found...? In that case maybe you have a permission problem on that file or it's corrupted..
