  • Question

  • According to an article I read in our local newspaper several months ago, Microsoft will offer One Care as a free product sometime this summer.  Does anyone know how soon this will be?

  • One Care will not be offered as a free product. Microsoft is planning to release a free antimalware application called Microsoft Security Essentials later this year which might have caused the confusion regarding One Care subscriptions. If your One Care subscription is due to expire soon you may be offered a free six month extension when you attempt to renew.
