Location to go to to restart winss service RRS feed

  • I am supposed to restart my winss service but I don't know where to go to do that. Please, help!

  • You would need to open a command prompt and type "net start winss" without the quotes, and hit enter.

    In Vista, type command in the search box and right click the shortcut and select Run as Administrator. In XP, Start/All Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

    Why do you need to restart winss?
