    Hi,

     

    I am getting an event 14420:

     

    "...Server startup is pending as server is unable to connect to SQL Server.

    Retries left: 588.
    Cause: WMI is unable to query the back-end database for server configuration. Server cannot start until database becomes available.
    Resolution:
    Ensure that the back-end SQL server is available and there are no connectivity issues."

     

    The SQL server is running just fine.  Any suggestions are most appreciated.

    Was able to get past the WMI error buy starting these services and setting them to automatic on the SQL server:
     
    SQL Server Agent (EXLAB)
     
    SQL Server Browser
     
    WMI Performance Adapter
