Outlook tracked emails had not been appearing in Dynamics CRM RRS feed

    I am initiating this discussion to have your opinions regarding the subject.

    Last night I configured the Dynamics CRM for Outlook in my Outlook 2016. I started tracking emails and I tracked 3-4 emails that appeared in Dynamics CRM.

    After couple of hours when I was demoing the client on my machine, I tracked and "set regarding" against another email and the tracked email didn't appear in Dynamics CRM. After several hours, it appeared in email activities section in Dynamics.

    • What could be the possible reasons for this? MS server side issue?
    • Do you guys, came across such a situation ever?

  • How have you set up your synchronization.

    You can manually cause a synchronization within outlook, if the records appears within crm as an activity after a few moments then synchronization is your answer.

  • I had just installed the Dynamics CRM 2016 for Outlook client and made my outlook account that is to be tied with the CRM as the default one.
