Unable to delete or remove custom toolbar RRS feed

    Hello, we have been developing a custom toolbar for MS Project 2007.  We have successfully added the custom Toolbar to Enterprise Global so that it can be cascaded down to all users.  However the original developers/testers of the toolbar have a bunch of rogue copies of the toolbar that were created as part of the development process, we cannot find a way to remove these these old toolbars and force a re-sync of Enterprise Global getting a clean copy of the toolbar.

    What I have tried is deleteing the toolbars from Tools->Organizer, however they reappear when I restart Project.  Also, Have tried deleting the local cache in in AppData\roaming\Microsoft\MS Project\Cache, without success.

    Any advice would be helpful, thanks a lot, mark

    Hi Mark,

    try starting Project without connection to the server (profile "computer") and use the organizer to remove the toolbars from the global.mpt.

    Thanks for the tip...that cleaned up nearly all of them. 

    However the one valid toolbar that we are interested in retaining, we would like to test it being pushed down to the MS Project client from Enterprise Global.  Is there a way to remove it from the client such that it will be cascaded down again from the Enterprise Global template.?  Or must you remove it from Enterprise Global, verify it was removed from the client, then re-add it to Enterprise Global, and verify that is cleanly been pushed down to the client.?
