Response.Redirect and HTTPS RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a page which allows user to mark items for removal, when a user selects a specific item and clicks on remove, a stored proc is called, but the changes do not appear on the UI until a page refresh. So I did a Response.Redirect(Request.Url.ToString()); and it works perfectly on my DEV m/c which uses http. When I deployed my application to UAT, and click on remove item, a page cannot be displayed error appears, and on page refresh, it reflects the expected change. The only difference in my DEV and UAT site is that the UAT site is secure, the entire site is https.

Can anyone advice on how to solve this problem, basically I need a page refresh from within the application after the user clicks on the remove button. Does response.redirect on the same page  not work for an https site??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
