Win XP Pro machine unable to complete validation after virus RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an older pc that got hit with a virus a few months back.  The offending code has been removed, but since then this machine consistantly says it is "unable to complete genuine Windows validation".  I have all the original operating system CDs.  I ran diagnostics, which came back as follows:

I'm not sure what it means by PID is invalid.  What can I do to correct whatever the PID is?
What can I do to get this machine to validate?
