  You probably need to do this in a custom communicator tab

  Thanks Gavin,
  
  I downloaded the msi file , but when installing it gives me the follwoing error:-
  
  "This installation package could not be opened.Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package"

  Your download may have gone corrupt
  I downloaded and installed it without any problems...

  I downloaded it again and the installation was successful.I am unable to see any tabs.How do I add a tab which will alert about password expiration.

  Those are just examples and if you installed them no tabs actually show in communicator.
  There are additional steps you need to do ... you need to read the "Office Communicator Tabs.doc" that comes with it to enable tabs (Section : Configuring a Custom Communicator Tab)
