     How do I change how Home Server identifies the client? Just changing the machine name does not work. It just adopts the new name and backups from the old name.

    I think you will need to remove the client PC from the console, then enroll it again. WHS doesn't offer a way to rename a client that's been enrolled.

    On a related note, i have a machine that "died" and I rebuilt it.  I used the same name as before hoping that i could restore from WHS, but it's treating it as a different computer.  That kind of makes sense, considering how backups are made, but how do I fool WHS into restoring to my new/old box?
