Windows One Care question: My back up is not working on my master desktop in my family network. It says not able to see external drive and something is preventing back process. The other two on my home network back up fine. The main desktop has backed up fine over the past year. I have checked the backup questions and have seen the external drive is working properly in device manager. Anything you can suggest further for me?
Please perform the below steps on the computer where the external drive is not detecting. Open one care-->Change settings--->firewall tab--->Advanced settings--->Ports and protocols--->Check the ICMPv4 and click on Apply and OK.
Now, try to turn off and turn on the backup option. Then, try to change the backup location to External drive.
